What Is A Callback?

By routing all your international calls through the United States and strategically placed worldwide sites, specialized service providers make the LOWER RATES of the U.S. phone system available directly to your phone. Since all your calls are handled by state-of-the-art computers, all of their advanced abilities are also at your disposal.

How It Works

Dial your access number, and hang up at the first ring. Because the call was not completed, no charges are assessed by your local telecommunications provider.

Seconds later, our computer calls you back. Pick up the receiver and you will hear a voice prompt. Then enter the destination number you wish followed by the "#" key). That it! You're connected.

When you are finished, just hang up.

PBX System

Because you may want to receive your callback at a location which may use a PBX telephone system, you can simply include the extension number and this would route your callback directly to your telephone extension.

Interactive Voice Response Features

United World Telecom provides an Interactive Voice Response system which allows you to make realtime changes to your account. By simply dialing *2 when you receive your callback, you gain access to the IVR system.

Portable CallBack (Dial*23)

Because customers are always on the move, they will have the ability to change the number where the computers will call them back. You can change the number using the Interactive Voice Response system. Simply dial your access number and wait to be called back. The system will request that you enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN), after which you will be allowed to change your preassigned callback number.You can also change your callback number online.Please note that this callback number can be transferred to any phone number in the world.

Speed Dialing (Dial*24)

For a faster connection to your most frequently dialed numbers, the system allows you to pre- record up to 99 numbers. When you're finishesd, simply dial 1#, 2# etc.for the pre-assigned number.

Record a Personal Greeting (Dial*25)

Because the number where you wish to be called back might be in a hotel, you can also record a message asking the hotel operator to connect the call to your room. If you wish to erase the message, simply dial (*26).
